Guess my favorite song is a great team building activity to get people to know a little more about each other.
Running the activity:
- Open the FunRetro page with the remote board for the activity.
- Ask each participant to find a video clip of their favorite song on YouTube.
- Instruct them to copy the YouTube URL and paste it into ‘Type something and hit enter…’ (the video clip will appear as in the image above).
- Hit play on the first song and the group has to guess whose it is.
- Repeat for all the video clips.
Music has been with humans as long as we can collectively remember. Song sharing is a great team building tool. Music foster group interactions; music brings good memories and get people talking about something beyond work activities. It´s a great and simple team building activity.
